i'm brittany, the owner of Free & Forgiven Co. as well as Brittany Leigh Photographs! I am a mother of three fun filled boys, and a wife to my best friend of almost 15 years. Nothing brings me more joy than my family and being a mother.
I have been photographing so many beautiful peoples' milestones for around 10 years now! So many blessings and friendships i've built along the way and so many new perspectives i've gained. Throughout the last 10 years i've become such an amazing woman inside and out, all thanks to God. I've grown so much in my faith and my relationship with God which has brought me to my newest adventure with Free & Forgiven Co. - a faith based boutique - sharing my love for Jesus and motherhood in such a fun way!
Before I begin, know that this is only a glimpse into what God has done in my life. I could write an endless book with what He's done and continues to do daily. I'd love to share my testimony and put into words the best way i can, just how much God has completely changed my life and what inspired me to begin Free & Forgiven Co. alongside Brittany Leigh Photo.
I gave my life to Christ back in 2016 when I lost a baby in the womb around 12 weeks pregnant. One day I found myself alone, drowning in tears on my kitchen floor, and i can't explain it but all of me changed in that moment. I felt the presence of God. To this day i don't talk much about my miscarriage to anyone, and I've made peace with that. I feel that in a way it's something only me and God can really connect on, and of course other mother's who've experienced the same thing.
I feel that when you lose a child you're never really the same afterwards. And again, this is only just a glimpse. Over time I've grown so close to God and letting Him carry all of that pain for me and it's completely changed my life. The peace. The comfort. The love that God gives, it's truly unexplainable.
Since that day I've slowly built comfort in sharing my faith and it's led me to this creative journey. Photography has been a huge part of my life and still continue's to be! I love being able to capture a moment in time, and for people to re-live those moments. I've been feeling the urge to express more of my creative side lately which has led me to building my own shop, Free & Forgiven Co. I am free and forgiven. Thank you Jesus.
I am beyond excited to continue to share and express so much of God's love through my creativity and the talent's and blessings He's given me.
